i grew up in the country, up in the willamette valley in Oregon. growing up i always enjoyed finding the beauty in nature. I started taking photos of what i saw so that i would never forget that moment, and later, be able to share what i saw with others. When i joined the military, i left the lush green valley to live in a very dry barrin desert. This presented a whole new challenge for me. i wanted to capture, and share the simple, but still breathtaking beauty of the desert. I now live in Downey, Ca., 15 min. from downtown LA. Now the challenge is finding the Nature amongst all the buildings, mass amounts of people and civilization. Finding and capturing the nature before civilization takes it over.
